Chicken Chili

Ingredientai
  • 400 g minced chicken
  • 1 (400 g) can chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 (400 g) can red kidney beans
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 chicken broth
  • 1 1/3 c water
  • 2 tsp red chili
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • pinch of black pepper
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2 tbsp oil for cooking
Gaminimas
  1. In a large pot, heat the oil. Add the onion, red pepper, garlic. Cook, stirring often, about 6 min.

  2. Add the meat, spices, salt. Cook, stirring often, about 5-6 min, until no longer pink. 

  3. Add the tomato paste. Mix with meat. Pour chopped tomatoes, water, chicken broth. Stir to combine. Cover the pot and bring to the boil. Add the sugar. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 min. 

  4. Add the beans. If needed, add more spices. Simmer for 5 min.
